Man Arrested for Trespassing at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Estate Days After Inauguration

A 32-year-old man, Bijan Arceo, was arrested after allegedly scaling a wall to enter former President Donald Trump’s exclusive Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The incident occurred just two days after Trump’s inauguration in Washington, D.C., marking an early security breach at the high-profile property.

Trespassing Incident

Arceo, a former real estate agent, was charged with trespassing with the intent to commit an offense. According to authorities, he was seen climbing over a wall near the north service gate on South Ocean Boulevard. The U.S. Secret Service and Palm Beach police promptly apprehended him on the property, which is lined with „No Trespassing“ signs.

In a statement to Fox News, a Secret Service spokesperson confirmed the arrest, noting, “While the incident had no impact on our protective operations, we take these matters extremely seriously.”

Mar-a-Lago Security History

This is not the first trespassing incident at Mar-a-Lago. In November, Chinese national Zijie Li, 39, was arrested after multiple attempts to bypass security. Li, who claimed he wanted to speak with Trump, was initially detained under the Baker Act for mental health evaluation but later released on bond. Despite restrictions, Li returned to the property, leading to his rearrest.

Background on Bijan Arceo

NBC Miami reports that Arceo worked as a real estate agent in Colorado in 2018. His bond has been set at $100,000.

Trump’s Absence

At the time of the breach, Trump was in Washington, D.C., signing executive orders during his first days in office.
