Joe Rogan Slams Liberals for Accusing Elon Musk of Nazi Salute at Trump Parade

Podcast host Joe Rogan has criticized liberal media outlets for accusing Elon Musk, owner of X, of performing a „Nazi salute“ during President Trump’s inaugural parade in Washington, D.C. The allegations stem from a hand gesture Musk made while addressing the crowd at the Capitol One Arena on Monday.

Rogan discussed the controversy during a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience with guest Lex Fridman, dismissing the accusations as baseless. He argued that such claims erode credibility and are part of a „crying wolf“ phenomenon. „After a while, it’s just a bulls— game you’re playing, and people see right through it,“ Rogan said.

Media Accusations of the Gesture

Musk’s gesture, described as placing his hand over his heart before extending it outward, sparked criticism from major outlets. CNN’s Kasie Hunt commented, „That salute was evocative of things we’ve seen through history.“ The PBS News Hour posted that Musk „gave what appeared to be a fascist salute,“ while The Jerusalem Post suggested it resembled a „Heil Hitler salute.“

Musk’s Response at the Event

During his speech, Musk addressed the crowd, saying, „This is what victory feels like! And this was no ordinary victory; this was a fork in the road for human civilization.“ The gesture accompanied his expression of gratitude: „From my heart to yours.“

Rogan defended Musk, stating the media’s interpretation was unfair and politically motivated. He argued that such accusations harm public discourse by sensationalizing innocent actions.
